Common questions

Do we actually own the site, or is there a subscription hiding somewhere?

You own it outright — code, content, design, and domain, with hosting and analytics accounts in your name, not ours. There is no platform fee and no subscription required to keep the site running. Care plans are optional, month to month, and the site works exactly the same without one.

We're on WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix now. Can you move us off?

Yes. We rebuild the site on a foundation you own, carry over the content worth keeping, set up redirects so search engines and existing links reach the new pages, and hand you the keys. Your old platform can be cancelled once the new site is live and verified.

Can our team update the site ourselves after launch?

That's the point of owning it. We build so that routine content changes — text, images, new pages following existing patterns — are within reach of your team, and we hand over documentation written for humans. If you'd rather not touch it at all, a care plan puts those updates on us instead.
